Pastor Cheri
PRAYER
We open up our spirits today to receive all that you have for us from your Word, we thank you for this great time of refreshing with you, in the Name of Jesus.
“ …The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working] (James 5:16 AMPC).
Any kind of positive change you might desire is possible in the Name of Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Looking through the Scriptures, you’d find examples of people who were desperate for a change and what they did. You too can learn what they learnt, act as they did and get what they got.
How compelled are you to change your financial status? How compelled are you to change your health situation? How compelling is your desire to move to the next level and experience the supernatural in your daily walk, in your ministry, academics, business or career?
A STRONG COMPELLING DESIRE
Success and progress in any area requires very simple and basic principles. One of such is a strong compelling desire. Let your desire be strong enough to compel you to take the right and necessary actions.
In Mark 5:25-29, we see another striking example of an actualized desire for change. It’s the account of the woman with the issue of blood who, having suffered for twelve long years, made up her mind to receive a miracle.
Compelled by her desire, she pressed through an impossible crowd to get to Jesus, defying the injunction that forbade her from having physical contact with other people. The hemorrhage she suffered made her ceremonially unclean; therefore, she stood the risk of being stoned to death if found in public, following the Jewish law of the day (Leviticus 15:25-27).
However, her desire for freedom, for her healing, compelled her to act her faith and she got a miracle. In Mark 9:23, Jesus said, “…all things are possible to him that believeth.” So, it makes no difference where you are in your life today, anything is possible. Act on God’s Word. Act your faith and be absolute about the result that you want, and it shall be so.
YOUR SEASON OF DIVINE VISITATION
Have you ever thought of having the Lord pay you a visit? “It’s very unlikely of God to do that,” you might say, but God’s Word contains several accounts of people who experienced such divine visits. It was sometimes a visit by an angel; at other times, it was the Lord Himself. These visits were always life-changing, destiny-altering experiences. For instance, Abraham, on a certain day, sat in his tent on a hot day and saw three men passing by. By faith, he perceived they weren’t ordinary men and called out to them to stop over for some refreshment (Genesis 18:1-5). It turned out that he was right: one of the three men was the Lord Himself, while the other two were angels! And, during this encounter, the Lord told Abraham exactly when Sarah would conceive and give birth (Genesis 18:10).
When Jacob was at a crossroads in his life, it took a divine visit from the Lord for him to experience his much-desired turnaround: He was alone one day when an angel came to him and wrestled with him all night long (Genesis 32:24).
He later realized the angel was no ordinary angel but God’s Spirit Himself, and pleaded with Him to bless him. Thereafter, the Lord changed his name from “Jacob” which meant “usurper” or “swindler” to “Israel,” which means “a prince of power with God.” That divine visit changed his destiny tremendously.
God wants to visit you too and touch your life in a special way. Divine visits weren’t reserved for Abraham, Jacob and other people in Bible days, so you can also expect to be visited by God. A divine encounter with the Lord will definitely change your life forever, and it’s the time for such divine visits.

FAITH AFFIRMATION
I affirm that I am excited about my life in Christ; for I’ve passed from death to life, from sin to righteousness, from sickness to health, from poverty to wealth.
I am seated with Christ in the place of authority, over and above every government, authority, power, lordship and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come. I am in Christ; thus, I’m over and above all circumstances. Christ has taken up His abode in my spirit; and now, I’ve become His living headquarters, and operational centre.
Through me, His glory, beauty, wisdom, perfections, and righteousness are revealed to the world, in ever-increasing measure.
I am life-conscious; life works in me! Every fibre of my being, every bone of my body, and every cell of my blood, is inundated with divine energy.
The eyes of my understanding is enlightened; I am innovative and full of divine ideas.
I have all it takes to stay ahead in my field.
I recognize today and take hold of my divine right to live in health, prosperity, victory, success, dominion, and excellence!
I reign and rule over circumstances and exercise dominion over Satan.
Glory to God. Hallelujah!
