BE FULLY DRESSED! PART 2

Pastor Cheri

Now what is this whole armour of God
Ephesians 6:14-17"Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:"
The underlined portions are the armours we are to put on. You don't put on some but all of it. That is why it says to put on the whole armour. Hallelujah!
So to be fully dressed, you must put on the whole armour of God. Hallelujah! No partial dressings allowed in the Kingdom, only full dressings! Praise God!
This is how we ought to dressed 24/7. We don't put any off at anytime. You may put off your physical dressing but not your spiritual. You should be dressed at all times.
When you look through the armours, the first on the list is truth, "having your loins girt about with truth." What is truth, truth is God's Word. Jesus said "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." John 17:17. Let your loins be gert about with the Word! Have the Word with you at all times, on the go. Nothing can stand against you successfully with this. Praise God!
Next is the "breastplate of righteousness;" Righteousness is our free gift from God."For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life." Romans 5:17-18.We didn't qualify or pay for our righteousness, it was given to us free of charge. This is one of our armours, so we must put it on at all times. As you do every accusing voice from the devil is silenced, you stand in boldness before God! Hallelujah!
The next is, "your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace." You should be ready to preach the Word at all times."Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season..." 2 Timothy 4:2.Whether you feel like it or not, keep preaching. Preach everywhere and anywhere. Hallelujah! You must be hot with the gospel at all times. Praise God! You must put on this armour at all times. The devil cannot stand a soul winner, this is because you are constantly testifying of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
Next is your shield of faith, "taking the shield of faith," The Bible says,"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6.We live our lives as Christians by faith."(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)" 2 Corinthians 5:7.This is one of our armours so we must always put it on and also always use it. With faith, you can change anything. This is how we please God! Praise God!
Next, our helmet of salvation, "And take the helmet of salvation." This is a very important armour and must be put on at all times. Never be ashamed to identify with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are first a Christian before anything else. This must be showcased. Without this you are not qualified for any armour. This has brought us into Christ, in Christ, we are able to put on these armours. Hallelujah!
Finally, "the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:" The Word of God here refers to the Rhema of God. The Rhema of God is God's specific Word to and for you at a given time. You must always have your Rhema Word with you, with this, you are able to subdue every distracting voice and put the devil to flight as you utter it. Hallelujah!
Our lives as Christians must reflect victory. Victory over the devil and his cohorts. This we achieve as we put on our armour. As you follow the Word in this light, you gain ascendancy over every challenging situation marching and moving forward with giant strides. Hallelujah!
If you have been blessed, lift up your hands to God in worship and thanksgiving!
