SOWING INTO THE ANOINTING

Pastor Cheri

Theme scriptures:  (2 Chronicles 20:20, 1 Tim 5:17, Matthew 10:41)

When you give to a Man of God, you are connecting to the anointing at work in the life of that Man of God and it establishes your prosperity. 2 Chronicles 20:20

The Man of God’s prosperity is dependent on his own giving and God is his sufficiency. We are the ones that need to connect to the grace and anointing upon the Man of God for God has given him as a gift to the body of Christ.

THE WIDOW OF ZAREPHATH

1 Kings 17:1-16

When the king was after Elijah, we saw God providing for his sustenance through the ravens that brought food for him and when God wanted to bless the widow of Zarephath, he told Elijah to go to Zarephath for he had commanded a widow woman there to sustain him; this widow did not seem to have anything and God did not send Elijah to the high and mighty of the society but he had seen a faithful woman who He wanted to bless and knew her blessing will come through the man of God He needed to send to her for her sustenance.

THE SHUNAMITE WOMAN

In 2 Kings 4:8-17, the Shunamite woman’s partnership with Elisha became the connection with the anointing of the Man of God that produced the harvest of a child despite the years of barrenness.

God has given us the same opportunity as we honor our Man of God, Rev Chris, we can expect a harvest of grace, favor or whatever need we expect God to meet in our lives.

THE CHURCH AT PHILIPPI

Phil 4:15-19

Paul the apostle testified of the Philippian church and their commitment in giving and receiving not because he had need of their gifts but so that they would have fruits that would abound to their account.

The anointing was so stirred in Paul that he declared God’s blessing upon them. (Phil 4:19)

The character of their gifts were best described by Paul as an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, and well pleasing to God!

Offer 7 (December 7) is a day we have set aside to celebrate the vision, the message and the man sent from God to our generation. It is his birthday; the day God brought him into this world as a gift to our generation.
